Joanne Filiatreau “I told them on my way out that their signs were soooo funny to me since I had been in DC on 3 occasions holding the same words on my sign…..”Hands Off My Healthcare” when Obama crammed Obamacare down our throats with $5,000 – $12,000 deductibles and just kept walking and laughing at them.”

A crowd of friends and supporters, as well as several Democrat protesters, some of whom who attempted to vocally disrupt the meeting, turned out for a Bruce Westerman for Congress campaign event on May 11, 2017 at the Lake Balboa pavilion in Hot Springs Village. Speakers included Congressman Westerman, Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, Arkansas Land Commissioner John Thurston, Arkansas Lt. Governor Tim Griffin, and Congressman French Hill.

  1. Clay, really! They had prepared questions and there was no vocal disruption until they were the ONLY people asked if they were supporters of Rep. Westerman. Westermans aides knew who they were because they had a meeting with me and these folks 2 days before in Westerman’s conference room, they were singled out. And no it was not a campaign event, on his face book page for this event it said Public. Vickie Garner

  2. Just to clarify – we didn’t intend to disrupt the event. That was not our intention. It was only after we were denied entry that we got signs out of my car and started chanting. This article is a bit misleading. We all registered for the event online and had tickets. We were denied entry at the check in. Congressman Westerman is to represent ALL of Arkansas’ 4th district, not just the GOP.
